Paper 1.3साहित्य कृतींचा अभ्यास (संत साहित्य)संत तुकाराम व संत रामदास स्वामी यांच्या साहित्याचे प्रयोजन जरी वेगळे असले जरी भिन्न असले तरी शिवाजी महाराजांच्या स्वराज्य निर्मितीला पोषण जणमत आणि वातावरण त्यांनी कसे तयार केले हे समजते.
Paper 1.4विशेष वाड:मय प्रकार (कथा) :-कथा वाड:मयाची वाटचाल, यौवल्य, पाश्चिमात्य विचार सरणी, लेखनशैली आणि सामाजिक वातावरण विद्यार्थ्यांना कळते. सामान्यपणे सामाजिक आणि ऐतिहासिक पार्श्वभुमीला अधिक महत्व ज्ञात आहे.

Paper 2.2साहित्य समिक्षा प्राचीण काळापासून आजपर्यंत निर्माण झालेले विविध साहित्य प्रकार, त्याची वैशिष्ट्ये याची जाणीव आणि त्याचा इतिहास याचे संपुर्ण ज्ञान मिळते.
Paper 2.3महानुभव साहित्य 700 वर्षापुर्वीच्या महाराष्ट्रातील समाज जिवनाचा मागोवा त्यात आहे तसेच पहिले मराठी गद्य, चरीत्र, आत्मचरीत्र, स्त्रीचे लेखन आणि संपादित साहित्य प्रकार येथुन कसा उदयाला आला हे कळते. सांकेतिक लिपी त्यातून निर्माण झाली. अशा एकुण 24 लिप्या आहेत. त्यातली सकळा आणि सुंदरा यात सर्वाधिक लेखन झाले आहे.

Part II Paper 1विशेष ग्रंथकार (तुकाराम) शिवकालीन सामाजिक, राजकिय, धार्मिक परिस्थितीचे ज्ञान हाते. अंधश्रध्दा, अतिष्ठ रुढी परंपरा, व्यसनाधिनता, मांत्रिक या संदर्भात तुकारामाची विचारसरणी समजते. तुकारामाची आवश्यकता आजही आहे कारण त्यांच्या अभंगातील जनमाणसाला केलेला उपदेश त्रिकालाबाधित आहे.
Part II Paper 2प्राचीण मराठी काव्यशाहीरी वाड:मय, भारुड यांचे कार्य आणि जनमाणसाला धरुन ठेवण्याची लोकवाड:मयात असणारी ताकत त्यातून समजते.
Part II Paper 3मराठी भाषा विज्ञान यात मराठी भाषेचा जन्म त्या संदर्भातील विविध विचार आणि व्याख्या समजतात. प्रमाण भाषा, बोली भाषा यातील फरक त्यांचे वेगवेगळे स्थान आणि महत्व, काही भाष्यांचे प्रकार जसे वऱ्हाडी, नागपुरी, खांदेशी, कोकणी वगैरे समजतात. भाषा संदर्भातल्या विविध संकल्पना शास्त्रिय दृष्टीकोनातून समोर मांडल्या जातात.
